Billings of semiconductor equipment manufacturers in North America climbed for the third straight month to reach a new record in November, according to the latest Equipment Market Data Subscription Billings Report published by SEMI.
The three-month moving average billings stood at $3.913 billion in November, up 5.0% from October’s $3.745 billion and 50.6% higher than the comparable period last year’s $2.61 billion.
The latest figure marks a new record and is the third straight month of increase after September’s $3.718 billion, up 35.5% year-on-year, and the $3.745 billion recorded in October, which was up 41.4%.
SEMI President and Chief Executive Officer Ajit Manocha said industry performance remains unprecedented, despite the persistent challenging hounding the supply chain.
