Ryanair has published that its negotiations with Boeing for a Max 10 order have ended without any deal on pricing, according to a report released by Ryanair on Monday.
Ryanair will take delivery of over 200 B737 “Gamechanger” aircraft over the next five years from 2021 to 2025. These deliveries will see Ryanair’s fleet grow to more than 600 aircraft capable of over 200 million customers per annum.
Ryanair and Boeing had been in discussions about a large follow-on order for Boeing Max 10 aircraft over the last ten months.
Meanwhile, Ryanair stated that last week it became clear that the pricing gap between the partners could not be bridged, and both sides have agreed to “waste no more time” on these talks.
A larger order from Ryanair would provide a major boost to the US planemaker Boeing and its MAX that was grounded for 20 months, up to last November.
