XPeng posted another record-breaking quarter with record quarterly revenues expanding 536.7% compared to the last year, according to a report by XPeng on Thursday.
The deliveries of vehicles in the second quarter were 17,398, reaching a record quarterly high and accounting for a 439% increase from 3,228 in the same period in 2020.
The deliveries of the P7 were 11,522 in the second quarter of 2021, reaching a record quarterly high and representing an increase of 44.5% from 7,974 in Q1 of 2021.
The Chinese Smart EV company’s total revenues in the second quarter rose by 536.7% to $582.5 million, an increase of 27.5% from the first quarter of 2021.
Revenues from vehicle sales were $555.1 million for Q2 of 2021, representing an increase of 562.4% from RMB 541.1 million for the same period of 2020.
The quarterly gross margin of the company improved to 11.9% for the second quarter of 2021 compared with a negative 2.7% for the same period last year. XPeng will continue to be a leader in the Chinese booming smart EV industry.
